Mardi Gras

Celebrate Mardi Gras: February 6 at 5:00p.m. in the Parish Hall

Mardi Gras (which means “Fat Tuesday”) refers to the last Tuesday in the season of Epiphany, the night before Ash Wednesday, when Lent begins. It is a time of celebration and feasting before the forty days of fasting which prepare us for Holy Week and Easter. At St Stephen’s, we are celebrating Mardi Gras a little early — on the Saturday before Ash Wednesday — and we hope you’ll join us. The St. Stephen’s Friars will be providing our meal for the evening. The cost for dinner is $10 per person and $25 per family. Please RSVP to Brenda in the office if you plan on attending. St. Stephen’s will provide some non alcoholic beverages and if you would like to bring a bottle of wine to share, that would be great. Please also consider whether you might contribute something to the Talent-Optional Talent Show as part of the evening’s entertainment. See you there!
