New Members and Visitors
Be sure to save the date for the Newcomers/Visitors Dinner, to be held in your honor. It’s a fun event sponsored by Member Development, Vestry and Clergy. All that is needed to make the evening perfect is your attendance! Good food, conversation, fellowship and child care too! A formal invitation will be in the mail to you soon. In the meantime, mark your calendars!

Young Adults!
St. Stephen’s is pairing up with a couple churches in the diocese to get together young adults in the East Bay: speakers, faith talk, beer, laughs and fellowship…Come join us at Pyramid Brewery in Walnut Creek. February 26, 7:30pm. Jay Johnson talks about relationships. If Christianity and the Bible often espouse relationships that are hierarchical and patriarchical, how can we draw on our tradition for form just, loving, mutual relationships of all kinds.
Introduction to St. Stephen’s
Sunday, February 26 at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Stephen’s Library. An opportunity for those new to St. Stephen’s, visitors, and anyone wanting to know more about our parish. Our rector, Fr. Larry, and Senior Warden, Bob Thompson, will be there to answer questions and provide information.
St. Stephen’s Knit and Crochet Fellowship
Do you love to knit or crochet? Do you want to learn? Do you want to improve your skills? Come share our love for yarn arts at 7:30pm in the church library with the St. Stephen’s Knit and Crochet Fellowship. Everyone is welcome to come any month they are available. The meetings are scheduled for the first Monday or Tuesday of the month. The 2012 schedule: Tuesday February 13 (Monday), March 5 (Monday), April 3, May 1, June 5, July 3, August 7, September 4, October 2, November 6, December 4. Have questions? Loaves & Fishes
The group does not have a dining room to serve lunches and instead “chops and chats” at the Pittsburg catering kitchen from 9 a.m. to noon. Carpool from St. Stephen’s parking lot at 8:30 a.m. Interested helpers please call Liz Jewell at 254-2789.
