Christianipiscopalianism

Christianipiscopalianism 101

Wednesdays from March 8 through May 31
6.30pm to 8.30pm
St Stephen’s Parish Hall

“Catechesis” is the ancient Greek word that means learning or instruction, and traditionally, Lent is the time for learning and instruction. This multi-faceted course begins on the first Wednesday of Lent and lasts for 12 weeks. (People who are interested in Confirmation can use it as preparation, but everyone is encouraged to attend.) We’ll use this time to deepen and enrich our appreciation for and understanding of basic Christian teachings: Baptism, Eucharist, Prayer Practices, the Trinity, Holy Scripture, the Church, and many others. In addition, since every practicing Christian should have a decent familiarity with at least one of the Gospels, the final six weeks will also feature an in-depth study of the Gospel of Luke. These 12 weeks will strengthen your faith, enrich your spiritual life, help you see the world with new eyes, and deepen your commitment to Christ and to St Stephen’s.
